Particle foams have long been valued for their low weight, energy absorption and design freedom, but their application window is fundamentally limited by temperature.  

This session introduces a next‑generation PBT particle foam that combines the advantages of foam technology with the performance profile of an engineering thermoplastic. With high heat resistance, low thermal conductivity, and excellent dimensional stability, the material opens new design spaces for lightweight components used in automotive, electronics and energy storage.
